Full description
The WE Knife Arrakis might look familiar. The Arrakis is namely based on its predecessor, the Eschaton, designed by Elijah Isham. The Arrakis distinguishes itself from the Eschaton by means of the slightly minimalist blade and the more detailed titanium handle. The result? A slightly more useful knife, but just as impressive as the Eschaton!
The Arrakis is simply an incredibly cool and very unique pocket knife. Take, for instance, the handle. It is phenomenally constructed. The fact alone that WE Knife was able to make this knife a reality is incredibly impressive. The backspacer, for instance, is actually a simplified piece of an integrated frame. This piece was milled from a thick piece of titanium. The titanium bolsters are neatly placed on top. WE Knife milled parts from the handle to give it a sort of alien-like/science fiction look and feel. Remarkable and exactly what we have grown accustomed to from Elijah Ishams design style.
The blade is made from Austrian M390 steel. A premium type of steel that is popular with top-quality pocket knives because of its excellent sharpness retention. The blade doesn't have the same curve in the edge as the Eschaton. As such the blade on the Arrakis is more suited for daily use.
