This Zassenhaus 46 cm mango wood serving board is an eye catcher in any kitchen. This board is made from mango wood which, obviously, comes from a mango tree. This tree mostly grows in South-East Asia and Australia. Mango wood has a warm colour, but because it is a natural product each product can look a little different. This is an aspect of this type of wood. Because of a special heat treatment the board is wood fungi resistant and has an anti-bacterial effect. As such you can safely serve snacks on this board.
You can, of course, also use this board as a cutting board. This wood protects the edges of knives to make sure they retain their sharpness. The rounded handle ensures that you can easily lift and move the board. A clever solution which makes this board very versatile.
Cleaning the board after use is a piece of cake. Rinse the board under the tap and clean it with a cloth. If necessary you can also use a little detergent. Never put the board in the dishwasher, it isn't dishwasher proof. The same applies for soaking it in water. Dry the board and leave it out to dry upright so that the air can do its work.
