Full description
The Zero Tolerance 0223 is a tough pocket knife, designed by Tim Galyean. A knife-maker and designer who designed the 0022 for Zero Tolerance.
The 0223 is inspired by the classic American military knife. You only need to glance at the 0223 to confirm this. The clippoint blade shape is faithful to the shape of the fixed knives used by the U.S. Army in the past. The cut-out in the 20CV steel blade and the ridges on the spine of the blade are also positioned in the same place. Even the titanium handle with black DLC coating and G10 inlays is similar to the design of these classic American knives.
The 0223 is a completely unique pocket knife within the Zero Tolerance range. Nevertheless, the knife is still a true Zero Tolerance knife. The action is phenomenal and the knife feels very solid. It's a real user's knife, just like we're used to from Zero Tolerance. We already mentioned it: the G10 inlays. These were added to the handle in a special way. Normally inlays are simply placed in the handle. However, Zero Tolerance has milled them out at the back to make sure the G10 inlays fit together at the back of the handle. This makes the knife feel very comfortable in hand. The G10 inlays are enhanced with milled-out lines that might remind you of the layered leather handles of old American military knives. Very innovative!
