Clamp for the DMT Aligner system. Easy sharpeing at a correct, constant angle.


The DMT clamp for the Aligner sharpening kit, makes it easy to sharpen at a correct angle. After you quickly fasten the knife, it is easy to keep the correct sharpening angle, because of the adjustable conduction. The clamp does not scratch your knife. However, if you are still nervous about this, you can put a piece of tape on the blade. 


The exact angle on the Aligner Guide will depend on the knife you are using with it. Based on a 1” blade, the settings range from 16 degrees (shallowest) to 40 degrees (steepest). The seven choices are: 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, and 40 degrees. Based on a 2”blade, the settings change to a range from 14 to 34 degrees. See the diagram next to the product pictures for more sharpening angles.

Is praktisch perfect product voor die prijs. Ik koop er nog twee !

Je l'ai utilisé avec des pierres à eau. Cela m'a aidé à avoir un angle constant lors de l'affutage. L'étau est bien adapté. Bon produit de ce point de vue.
Cependant, il s'es avéré fragile au niveau des tiges de plastiques. L'un des ergots à cassé lors du verrouillage sur un des crans. Donc attention lors du verrouillage.

Die Neue und überarbeitete Klemme ist besser und universeller einsetzbar als die Alte.
