The **Böker Coffin Denim Micarta**, designed by Chuck Gedraitis, is more than just a knife. It combines timeless elegance and effortless reliability. The coffin-shaped design of the handle is an eyecatcher. This handle is made from stunning Denim Micarta. As a result, this knife is a nice mix of tradition, elegance and proven innovation. You open this knife with the nail nick, and when opened, the slipjoint makes sure the knife won't close when you don't want it to.

## Böker Coffin materials

The droppoint blade made from Magnacut steel has a hardness of no less than 63 HRC! This steel is a stainless type of tool steel, with a toughness and sharpness retention comparable to carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance of Magnacut Steel is also sublime. 

If needed, you can move the deep-carry pocket clip to the other side of the handle. This allows you to comfortably carry the knife on either your left or your right side. 

The Böker Coffin Denim Micarta comes with a high-quality felt pouch. Handmade in the Böker factory in Solingen, Germany.
