The **Chris Reeve Green Beret 7"** is the official combat knife that is used by the American Special Forces. A no-nonsense 'tool' designed by famous knife maker and designer Bill Harsey, and made by Chris Reeve Knives.

 The Green beret is a real users knife: efficient, tough and strong, just like the troops it was designed for. Made from one piece of S35VN powder metallurgical steel with a sustainable KG Gun-kote anti-reflection coating. The nice hollow grind is characterizing for Chris Reeve Knives' excellent knife-making skills.

 The handle is made from micarta. This is an incredibly strong and light-weight material perfect for handles. It feels great in hand and it offers a lot of grip. Even if micarta gets wet it still offers you enough grip. The textile fibres in the material expand a little to make sure you have more grip. Because of the size of the handle you even have enough grip with large hands. Even while wearing gloves you can easily use the Green Beret.

 The Chris Reeve Green Beret comes with a good nylon sheath. It is enhanced with a plastic insert and is MOLLE-compatible. You immediately notice that even the sheath was well thought out: The inside of the plastic insert has been enhanced with a layer of fabric to make sure the knife won't move inside the sheath.
