The **Civivi Mastodon C2012** is a cool and large EDC pocket knife. Characterizing about this knife is its large cleaver-style blade shape. Like a type of cleaver. A shape that has recently gotten more and more popular. Even though you have a fairly long, straight edge, you also have a pointed tip for the more detailed tasks.



You quickly open this knife with the flipper. It is remarkable that Civivi enhanced this knife with ceramic ball bearings. A feature you often see on knives in a much higher price range. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. As such your fingers are safe when you use this knife.



## G10 handle


The handle is comprised of steel liners with G10 scales. A strong and light-weight material made from fibre glass and synthetic resin. The light texture feels great in hand and offers you enough grip.



## Blade made from 9Cr18MoV


9Cr18MoV. Quite the mouth full. All you need to know, however, is that it is stainless and easy to sharpen. 9Cr18MoV is also pretty tough and retains its sharpness well. A great type of steel for a knife in this price range.
