The **CRKT Prequel** is a tough EDC knife. The first thing you notice is the 8cr14MoV steel blade. It has a very unique shape. A type of combination between a sheepsfoot shaped blade with a tanto-shaped edge. This tanto-shaped edge is, like a chisel, practical for scraping tasks or when you need to cut something on a flat surface.

 The CRKT Prequel is not only exceptional because of its looks. It is namely also enhanced with a special mechanism to make sure you can easily take it apart. This by Ken Onion patented Field Strip Technology is so simple it is hard to imagine that it didn't exist yet. Turn a latch, loosen the wheel: open. You clean it and repeat the process, but then reversed. Within thirty seconds it will be fully assembled again. Perfect when you work in surroundings where dirt is a problem. Think of soldiers, mechanics and hunters.

 The handle of the CRKT Prequal is also remarkable. It is namely made from cast aluminium. Light-weight and very sturdy!
