This Fissler Vitaquick pressure cooker is very well made and suitable for all heat sources, including induction. Safety is paramount with this pressure cooker. There are plenty things built-in that ensure that you quickly and safely cook with this pressure cooker.
What do you use a pressure cooker for?
A pressure cooker shortens the cooking time for a particular dish. A stew that you would normally put in braisers could save you up to 70% of the cooking time. Also when cooking vegetables the vitamins are better preserved. Not only more efficient, but also healthier!
This Fissler pressure cooker seals shut perfectly. The metal edges in the lid fall perfectly into the metal edges on the pan itself. A thick rubber sealing ring ensures that this seal air-tight and water-tight. When you close the pan, you hear a clear click when it is closed properly. The safety handle has an indicator which shows exactly when the pan is correctly shut.
The Fissler Vitaquick pressure cooker has 2 different cooking levels. You can cook under high pressure and with slightly lower pressure. By adjusting the heat source at the right time you can influence the two pressure levels.
There is a status indicator on the lid. It clearly indicates the pressure status of the pan. The two white stripes on the indicator tell you exactly what’s cooking!
High-quality SuperThermic bottom surface
The SuperThermic bottom surface is a true asset of the Vitaquick pan. It is suitable for use on all the different heat sources. This makes the Fissler Vitaquick pressure cookers also suitable for cooking on induction. With the SuperThermic pans you can also switch between different types of heat sources. Without of course the pans bending in shape, something which can happen with lower-quality pans.
As a safety measure you cannot fill a pressure cooker to the edge. On the inside of the pan you will an easy measurement scale. These are the maximum contents:
- Pressure cooker of 2,5 l: can take up to 1,5 l
- Pressure cooker of 4,5 l: can take up to 3,0 l
- Pressure cooker of 6,0 l: can take up to 4,0 l
The pressure cooker comes with a comprehensive manual. We recommend to read it before first use. This contains valuable tips on use, cleaning and maintenance.
