Full description
The series '5 Coqs' by Fontenille Pataud owes his name to a a small town, Yssingeaux, in France. Pronounced like 'i-sin-jo' it means, in local dialect 'five young roosters'. The roosters aren't only featured in the name of the knife series. The blade also features a stylized rooster. The number '5' is beautifully made into the shape of the rooster. And the back of the knife is quite reminiscent to a rooster head with cockscomb. Pay close attention to the eyes of the rooster, which feature two colours. Also notice the pearl shean, that has been added to the alternative 'fly', which is shaped almost like an Eqyptian Ankh.
The handle of this knife is made of walnut wood. This natural material is unique with every knife. The wood has a matte finish and a warm appearance. The back of the knife is tastefully decorated. A suede sheath is included. Blade length (sharp part): 8.1 cm.
