The Fox Fairbairn Sykes is a sturdy dagger, based on a classic design from the Second World War. This British commandos dagger was originally designed by Fairbairn and Sykes. The Dutch knife company Hill Knives, however, decided to make a modern version of it. This is the production version of that wonderful design. Designed in Rotterdam by father and son V.d. Heuvel.
The Fairbairn Sykes dagger has a blade with a double-sided grind. A must-have for any collection. The blade is made from Austrian Böhler N690Co-steel. A very stainless type of steel, preferred by Hill Knives.
The handle is made from walnut wood, which looks very fancy. Thanks to the large knife guard and the double sided blade, you can hold this knife in various ways. It is one of the reasons why this knife is so popular. The rings in the handle create extra grip, without being too noticeable.
The Fox Fairbairn Sykes comes with a luxurious leather sheath. The sheath is perfect for left and right-handed use.
