The **Fox Knives Eastwood Tiger FX-106-TIZW** is a large and cool fixed knife, designed by Dutch designer Gudy van Poppel. This version is the upgraded and fixed-blade version of the original pocket knife. For years Gudy has been producing amazing fixed knives and pocket knives. His witty logo is on the right side of the blade: a little figure with an L behind it. Pop-L, or Poppel. The knife comes with a kydex sheath for safe transport.

## Blade made from Elmax steel

Elmax steel is a high-end European steel type. It has an excellent sharpness retention, it's very stainless and very tough. It might be a bit more difficult to sharpen, though, which is why we recommend using diamond-coated sharpening stones from brands like Wicked Edge or Work Sharp. Fortunately, once the blade has a sharp edge, it will remain sharp for an incredibly long time.

## Titanium handle with ziricote inlay

The handle is made from titanium with a ziricote inlay. Both the handle and blade are large and robust. You immediately feel that this knife is made to be used. It is really clever how the 'flared' handle tapers from thin to wide. As such the knife won't shoot from your hand during use, and you also have enough grip.
