The **Gerber Flatiron Grey & Gear Rag Hank 1052476** is a cool set for EDC or to give as a gift. This combi-pack comes with a cool Gear Rag Hank. Great for EDC or to display your knives on.


The Gerber Flatiron is a solid pocket knife with a cleaver-style blade. This a blade shape you often see with butcher's knives. Because of the straight edge this type of shape is perfect for use in the kitchen.



The blade has a rough stonewashed finish and is made from 7Cr17MoV-steel. A decent and easy to sharpen type of steel. The Gerber Flatiron is easy to open with the elongated thumb hole. The finger groove at the start of the blade gives you a lot of control and ensures that your index finger doesn't accidentally slide forward as you use the knife. Better safe than sorry!



The handle is made from stainless steel and aluminium. When opened the blade is locked with a robust framelock mechanism. An interesting detail is the enormous overtravel stop. As such you make sure you don't push the lockbar too far outside of the frame as you unlock the knife. The overtravel stop is larger than average and enhanced with a subtle elevation. As such your fingers rest on the overtravel-stop, and not on the lockbar. This makes opening the Flatiron a lot easier. The wide, square pocket clip is also very unique and ensures that you can comfortably carry the knife on your pocket.



Again Gerber demonstrates that they can produce amazing knives within this very appealing budget-segment. The Gerber Flatiron is a strong knife that is meant to be used!

Great little knife, probably going to use it for bbq's garden round the house etc ...not really an EDC but for the fun factor its worth every penny. A cool mini cleaver. The clip was sadly a little loose when i got it and soon realised that the torq's screw heads were threaded, so i could not tighten them, had to use some contact glue to fix it, but for that price iam not gonna complain. All in all, i love it, a typically odd Gerber...worth the money
