This is a beautiful crafted pocket knife. I must say I am very pleased with its simplicity and style. Its great for the small everyday tasks. What's also great is that you have a little bit of Japanese history in your pocket when carrying one of these. Great little knife, just get one, or two, they are beautiful.

Difficult to open, but it certainly does stay open. The blade is truly sharp and is up to most tasks expected of it. Overall it is an excellent knife and a welcome " workhorse " in my collection. I'm glad I bought it.

Bought as a 40th Birthday present for my friend as he appreciates useful items that are traditional and have story to them. This fits the bill perfectly really. Sure you can buy 'fancier' versions with titanium and carbon fibre..... But the traditional stuff just feels different. A cool, handy little knife for those times when you never thought you'd need to cut something. Delivery from The Netherlands was really quick too. No complaints at all.
