The KA-BAR Combat Kukri 1280 is a medium-sized machete, based on the famous Kukri knife. This is a robust machete that is often used in Nepal by the Ghurka’s. This KA-BAR Combat Kukri has the same Kraton handle you have seen on other KA-BAR knives, but with a large Kukri blade.
This blade, with its royal belly is made from 1095 carbon steel. Not stainless, but easy to sharpen. More importantly: it can handle its own. Exactly what you want when you are using it. You use it to find a way through dense vegetation or to remove small branches. If you want to cut through branches or trunks you use an axe or a saw.
The KA-BAR Combat Kukri comes with a nylon sheath with plastic insert.
