The **Kai Shun Premier Tim Mälzer utility knife 16.5 cm** comes with a beautiful case from the Kai Tim Mälzer collection. The knife has a slim, long blade and can be used for a wide range of cutting tasks. The blade is curved and ends up in a pointed tip. This allows you to rock the knife to chop food. The point is used for the precise cutting tasks. For every task in the kitchen a chef's knife is a little too big, you can use this knife. Whether it's cutting cheese, sausage or finely chopping herbs.

 The Kai Shun Tim Mälzer knives feature KAI's famous Damascus laminated metal structure, combined with a very hard core of VG-MAX steel. The blade has been hammered by hand. This technique is called Tshuchime. It not only ensures that the knife is razor-sharp and looks stunning, but also that the product you are cutting does not stick to the blade.

 The core of the blade is enhanced with 32 layers of corrosion-resistant damask steel. The hardness of these blades is 61 ±1 HRC, which is exceptionally hard. This knife retains its sharpness for a very long time. The handle is made from brown walnut and feels great in hand for both left- and right-handed users. A beautiful detail is the Tim Mälzer logo on the end of the handle. All in all a beautiful, functional knife to love.
