I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Packing and looks are kuro excellent, works so well when combined with the Shapton Pond as it was meant to be. A well designed quality product range from Shapton for sure and a great price from Knives and Tools, thank you. Functionality, this beast doesn't move at all on the Shapton Pond and my Kuromaku stones fit perfectly the height is just right (for me) should you prefer a seated position for you sharpening, as you have bags of clearance same for standing. Like the Shapton Pond it is not cheap but I belive it to be worth the investment especially if your considering the Pond to, I would recommend a combi-deal to ease the cost a little. Postage arrived in a couple of days so excellent. Thank you Knives and Tools.
