in total, not a bad stone. it does its job, but: stone loads extremely fast, but cleans just with water and bare hands not recommending for beginners, couse stone pretty soft and it cuts in easily 3000 and 6000 grit stones came with minor skratches and dirt spots, but this had no effect on performance and was cleaned in 30 sec, only effected firs empression from the box. in total, stones are fine, but the price should be lower

Very soft, very easily damaged when sharping chisels. Has a lot of suction when flattening the back of a plane iron. The shapton 500 and 1000 are a joy to use compared to this stone. Wish I had gotten the 3000 shapton instead.
