The **Steel Will Barghest** is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Vaeringi. The robust lines and modest grip grooves have turned the Barghest into a really cool knife. And that for such an amazing price.



The Barghest is a part of Steel Will's Tactical collection. As such it is made for those who ask a lof of their knife. Use it to open boxes, during work or when you are cutting cardboard to pieces. You can easily open the knife with the flipper and the thumb stud. When opened a solid linerlock ensures that your fingers are safe.



It is a robust knife, but to save some weight Steel Will enhanced the steel liners on the inside of the G10 handle with large cut-outs. Saves a couple grams! The blade is made from D2 steel. This is a tough type of steel that retains it sharpness well. You can easily sharpen it yourself which is great if you use it on a daily basis. Do, however, be careful with moisture and acids: D2 is not completely stainless. So clean the knife after use, especially when (fruit)acids, salt or moisture came into contact with the knife.

The handle is big enough and it allows for a firm grasp, the shape and the rough surface of the handle gives a great grip. The blade is well sharpened and when open it feels solid. Unfortunately the opening is not smooth because there are no ball bearings, it's really a pity.
