Versatile pocket knife with additional tools

The **Leatherman Free K4** is a large and cool pocket knife, enhanced with a couple other tools. As the name might already suggest the Leatherman Free K collection also uses the Free technology. A clever, easy to use lock for the blade and the tools, and a practical way to open all tools with one hand. It has never been easier!

 We start with the blade. The blade is enhanced with a hollow grind and pointed tip. Great for the more detailed tasks such as peeling an apple. The blade is made from 420HC steel. Leatherman has been using this type of steel for almost all its multi-tools and you should, of course, *never change a winning team*. 420HC retains its sharpness well, is relatively tough and easy to sharpen. So simply just good.

 The great thing about the Leatherman Free K4 is that it can easily be used by left and right-handed users. You can namely control the openings mechanism and lock from both sides.

Pratique et fonctionnel 

Super Couteau. Je possédais déjà un leather wave depuis une dizaine d'année, je voulais quelque chose de pratique mais plus petit, ce couteau répond parfaitement à mes attentes. Mon leatherman wave n'a toujours pas été aiguisé depuis tout ce temps, en espérant que le free tienne tout aussi longtemps. 

I decided to go for the Free K4 because I wanted a larger blade combined with the typical Leatherman versatility. 
It comes nicely sharpened, blade and tools are easy to manipulate with the magnetic mechanism, one hand opening works fine. It is no lightweight, but then it is sturdy, and I removed the pocket clip because I carry it in a pouch. 
The only downside is, as usual, the price on the European market, which is substantially higher than in the U.S.

Belle petite lame. Bonne épaisseur. Beau tranchant. Bonne qualité d'acier.
