Benchmade Mini-Griptilian 556BKOD-S30V pocket knife, Mel Pardue design

Not the nicest example of an axis lock I’ve had, I can’t achieve a drop shut action without blade play. Probably the first Benchmade that this has happened on. With that said though, it’s still a very competent pocket knife and the S30v seems to have been heat treated well. I’ve used it every day for a month and just stropped it a few times to maintain the edge. DLC has held up surprising well also. On the whole it’s a very good knife But mine has a couple of niggles or it would be full marks. I would recommend this if you are looking for a small work knife that can take a bit of a kicking, I don’t mean chopping a tree down but it’ll stand up to anything sensible you throw at it.
