The **Fällkniven A1nz** can be seen as a benchmark in the knife world. It's the ultimate reliable fixed knife. Its size is is hefty without being excessive. Still, the knife is strong and heavy enough to allow for heavy-duty chopping work, and cutting is effortless too. This is partly because the blade runs throughout the Thermorun handle: it is a full-tang blade. Fällkniven chooses Thermorun because it offers a great grip even when it's freezing or wet outside.

The blade is made from rock-solid laminated VG10 steel. It has a convex grind, which ensures impressive cutting capabilities without increasing the risk of chipping. The blade has a modified clippoint shape which makes the A1 perfect for piercing tasks as well.

This version of the A1 comes with a nice Zytel sheath. The two-stage locking mechanism is a new feature. There's no strap around the handle like with previous A1 sheaths. The Zytel sheath has a sleek look with an opening at the bottom for drainage.
