Full description
The KA-BAR Mark I is a remake of the original Mark I knife that was supplied to the United States army during the Second World War. This knife has an impressive track record and this KA-BAR Mark I is so solid that it will last a lifetime.
Characterizing about the Mark I is that, at first glance, the handle looks perfectly round, but turns out to be oval upon further inspection. KA-BAR did the same to the blade. The blade is a combination between a clippoint and a droppoint. Like almost all KA-BAR knives this fixed knife is made from 1095 carbon steel. Not completely stainless, but easy to sharpen. In addition, the black coating prevents rust.
The handle is made from leather. One of the famous KA-BAR trademarks. You can carry the KA-BAR Mk. I in the included leather sheath.
