Materials and construction
The pans from the 3-ply-series consist of a 3-layer system which is called 3-ply. Two outer layers of stainless steel with an aluminium core. This sandwich construction is used throughout the pan, from the bottom to the edge. This ensures excellent heat conduction and also prevents heat zones. Thanks to this construction, the pans react quickly to changes in temperature from the cooking hob. As a result, dishes do not burn and it is possible to perfectly cook your stews.
Use and maintenance
Le Creuset pans are extremely solid and will last for generations. That's why Le Creuset provides a lifelong guarantee. Whether you cook on induction, gas or anything else does not matter. Metal cookware can be used with care, but should not scrape the surface. Never cut any food in the pan. Scratch damage may occur. Which makes sure that your product comes off the non-stick coating less easily.
Always choose the right heat source and temperature for your pan. When using a stove make sure that the flames never reach further than the base of the kettle. Preferably use cookware made of wood, plastic or silicone. Metal cookware, like forks and spoons, can be used with care, but should not scrape the surface. Never cut any food in the pan.
