Sage cutting boards are made from a combination of FSC-certified wood, pulp and resin. This results in a thin cutting board with a smooth, non-porous, heat resistant and very hygienic surface. They meet the HACCP standard which regulates issues of food safety. They can therefore be used in a professional environment. The material is soft enough not to influence the sharpness of the knife, but hard enough to prevent deep scratches. According to Sage, these boards have a life-span twice as long as wooden boards. In addition, they are relatively light and very thin!
The edge of the pizza board is slightly sloped so a pizza can slide onto the board. Great feature! The handle allows you to easily pick up the board.
