You quickly open the Benchmade 945 with the double thumb stud. A solid Axis lock locks the blade to make sure your fingers are safe. Great about this axis-Lock is that it is great for both left and right-handed use. Combined with the interchangeable pocket clip this Benchmade 945 is a true friend to all.

The handle is made from black G10. With an 'underlayer' or liner made from blue G10. This contrast makes it a little playful. The blade is made from CPM S30V steel. An excellent American type of steel. It retains its sharpness well, is stainless and easy to sharpen. Simply a good choice!
