Woxna saw: folding bushcraft saws with wooden handle

Woxna is a Swedish brand that draws on centuries-old Scandinavian tradition. From the forests along the Voxnan River, they design high-quality, folding hand saws that suit a life close to nature. The most striking feature? The wooden handle. Whereas most outdoor saws have a plastic handle, Woxna deliberately chooses walnut or oak. Not only does this look beautiful, it also feels natural during use and perfectly complements the bushcraft experience. A unique combination of craft, sustainability and pure design.

Reasons to choose Woxna

Anyone who is often in the woods knows that a good saw is indispensable. Woxna specifically targets bushcrafters, campers, hunters and anyone who embraces the outdoors. The brand combines functional performance with a look that matches traditional tools such as a hand-forged axe or a Scandinavian bushcraft knife. The wooden handle provides warmth and grip, even during longer use. In addition, the blades are made of high-quality steel, so they stay sharp and withstand intensive cutting. Woxna makes saws that not only work the way you want, but also last a lifetime with you. Over time, each saw bears the marks of its user's travels and adventures, creating its own story.

Woxna series

Woxna Ljusnan

The Ljusnan series has a walnut wood handle and a blade made of premium stainless steel. This steel is similar to what you find in high-quality knives: tough, rust-resistant and easy to maintain. Ideal for those who spend a lot of time outdoors and don't want to worry about maintenance. The Ljusnan is available with a blade length of 18 cm or 25 cm, so there is always a size to suit your equipment and use.

Woxna Hälsing

The Hälsing series features an oak wood handle and a classic carbon steel blade. This type of steel has been used in tools for centuries and is known for its sharpness and robustness. Carbon steel requires a little more care - occasional drying and oiling - but delivers an authentic look and performance in return. The Hälsing is also available in 18 cm and 25 cm.

Woxna product types

Woxna folding saws

All Woxna saws are foldable, making them compact and backpack-friendly. The blade folds and locks securely, so you can take them with you without worry. The design focuses on practical use: cutting branches, clearing paths, preparing wood for the campfire or building a shelter. The choice of materials makes Woxna unique. You can choose between stainless steel saws with walnut wood for those who want convenience and low-maintenance use, or carbon steel saws with oak wood for fans of traditional look and sheer cutting power. Both versions have 7 TPI (Teeth Per Inch) and a three-stage grind, allowing them to pass efficiently through both dry and fresh wood.

About Woxna

Woxna was founded by Elma and Ulf in Sweden, near the Voxnan River. Ulf comes from a family of saw makers and brought in his knowledge of steel and manufacturing, while Elma had the idea of designing a saw as beautiful and reliable as a traditional bushcraft knife. Their mission is clear: make saws that suit the outdoors, are sustainable, and can last for generations. Woxna has a weakness for traditional tools and designs its saws with the intention that they will last a long time and become more and more beautiful over the years. Over time, each saw bears the marks of its user's travels and adventures, creating its own story. To record its origin, each saw is given a unique number, subtly engraved where the blade and handle meet. Thus, each saw becomes part of a perhaps small but special story.
