Features of the ESEE 6

ESEE 6: blade

The blades of ESEE 6 knives are made of 1095-carbon steel. This steel is not stainless, but it can handle a lot. Perhaps just as important: 1095 is also very easy to sharpen. This means you can still sharpen your knife in the field with relatively limited resources. Fortunately, the blade is protected by an extremely durable powder coating. The wonderful usage qualities of the steel guarantee a lifetime of fun.

Within the ESEE range this is one of the largest survival knives with which you can also carry out 'normal' tasks. With its 16.5 cm blade you can also use it for light chopping tasks.

ESEE Model 6: handle

The handle is made from micarta. It's a very pleasant material to hold in your hand. The advantage of micarta is that you'll still have a good grip in wet conditions.

The ergonomics are excellent. The handle is enhanced with a curve for your index finger. The handle is quite large, so also suitable for large hands. If you place your index finger in the curve at the base of the blade, your thumb will automatically fall on the ridges that are added to the top of the blade. As such you have more control over the knife. The back of the knife has a large hole for a lanyard. The back of the blade runs throughout the handle. As such you can also use the knife as a hammer. Although it is not a real glass breaker, this knife is heavy enough to be able to break through a thick layer of glass.

The sheath is not included. That's because there are many options to choose from. For the accessories, too, it's important to choose the products that suit your intended use. Of course, the different versions share the quality and multi-functionality of all ESEE Knives products.
