Why choose Tenable Knives?

Tenable Knives was born from a clear vision: to bring high-quality designs to market at an accessible price. As a daughter brand of the well-known Kansept Knives, Tenable knows exactly what it is all about: good materials, excellent workmanship and stylish design; but within reach of an even wider audience.

Affordable quality

Tenable combines solid steels such as 14C28N with high-quality handle materials such as G10 and micarta. These are materials that have proven themselves over many years in terms of durability, grip and ease of use. Add to this an excellent finish and smooth opening mechanisms, and you have a knife that screams to be used every day. On top of that, Kansept, and therefore Tenable, work with many renowned designers so you get the finest designs at a fraction of the price.

Ergonomics and design

Many models are inspired by existing, popular Kansept designs but without the 'premium' steels and the really small details. Ergonomics, balance and appearance are maintained, while smart choices in materials ensure that the price remains low without compromising on performance or pleasure of use.

So, should you get a Tenable knife?

Whether you are just starting out in knife hobby or looking for an affordable addition to your EDC rotation, Tenable Knives offers a surprisingly strong total package. With a wide range from compact EDC pocket knives to handy fixed blade knives, you can't go wrong with a Tenable knife!

Tenable Knives series

Tenable Knives Parr

Tenable Knives Tiny Dancer

A compact hunting knife adapted into a versatile all-rounder. It was designed by JB Stout as a 'pocket powerhouse'.

Tenable Knives Model 6

The Model 6 is an EDC pocket knife designed by Nick Swan. He designed the Model 6 with a clear purpose: not as a 'safe queen', but as a workhorse for real use.

Tenable Knives Kratos

The Kratos is an eccentric and eye-catching EDC pocket knife designed by Ostap Hel. The design has clean lines and looks unique.

Tenable Knives Gideon

The Gideon is a pocket knife reminiscent of a dragon. This is reflected in the curved handle that ends in a tail-like-shape. The blade is shaped to resemble the head of a dragon or a lizard.

The Fermi is a pocket knife that can only be described as a 'functional work of art'. If you are looking for an EDC pocket knife that performs well above its price range, the Fermi is a no-brainer.

Tenable Knives Anomaly

The Anomaly is a design by Dirk Pinkerton. This is reflected in the size and practicality of the design. Dirk's motto is therefore: 'Big enough to do the job, but as small as possible'.

About Tenable Knives

Tenable Knives was officially introduced in 2024 as the budget brand of Kansept Knives, as announced on BladeForums on May 29, 2024. This was finally confirmed on 26 June 2024 Inspired by brands like Civivi under WE Knife, Kansept's vision was to create a separate entry-level line to make high-quality designs accessible to a wider audience without diluting the quality of Kansept itself.

The driving force behind Kansept and Tenable is Kim Ning. With more than 20 years' experience as a designer and former production manager at Kizer Knives, he uses his experience to create sophisticated designs while producing affordably.

Tenable is manufactured in the same modern facilities of Kansept, combined with a team with decades of experience in knife production. This ensures consistent quality, even with budget-line product.
