Your engraving in 4 steps

1. Order your product along with 'Order with Engraving'. After this you will receive an e-mail.
2. Create a design for the engraving with the DesignTool and select a position for the engraving.
3. Please reply to the e-mail with the design number and the article number of the product to engrave.
4. We will engrave and ship your order out as soon as possible.

Positions of engravings on Swiss pocket knives

We can engrave on almost all flat, metal surfaces. We cannot engrave on plastic, rubber, micarta, leather or wood. Please note: Swiss pocket knives with a wooden or plastic handle can only be engraved on their blades.

Things to keep in mind & material

When choosing the position it is important to keep in mind where the brand name is on the product, and how big you would like the engraving to be. For this, it is best to take a close look at the product photos. It's important that there is enough space for your engraving. When you would like the engraving on the blade, it is important to pay mind to how the blade is shaped and if there are thumb studs or thumb holes. For example, an engraving on a standard Victorinox pocket knife will look best on the right side because there is usually a recess or logo on the left side.

We can engrave on almost all flat, metal surfaces. We cannot engrave on plastic, rubber, micarta, leather or wood. In the case of Victorinox Swiss pocket knives, for example, this means that we can only engrave on the blade. Please bear in mind the limited space available on these blades.

For many of our Swiss pocket knives, you can check the specifications to see whether the product can be engraved. It will say: 'Can be engraved: Yes or No'.
