Whether it is truly the best we cannot say for sure, but they do come close. The knives are of great quality and enhanced with a great finish. The collection contains a couple very specific knives. Take, for instance, the eel knives. Because of the specific tasks, remarkable grind and the steel used we don't recommend using these knives if you do not have any experience with Japanese knives.
