Shotoh knife: a Japanese sword for in your kitchen
The name shotoh comes from the word 'shotoh', the Japanese word for small sword. When you look at the shape of the blade you understand why. This modern Japanese kitchen knife is a little bigger than a paring knife, and incredibly practical when you prefer a larger blade when cutting, peeling and cleaning vegetables and fruit. You could, however, also easily use this knife to clean meat or fish. For the more demanding cutting jobs we recommend a utility knife or a chef's knife.
