WMF Yari steel
The blade is made from 67 layers of damascus steel with a VG10 steel core. This combination results in a stunning, wavy pattern. Very stylish! The knives are stainless, but we still recommend washing these knives by hand. In doing so, the beauty of the damascus steel will be preserved for an exceptionally long time.
WMF Yari handle
The handle is made from black pakkawood. A composite material made from wood and resin. It's incredibly strong and wear-resistant. Moreover, it can handle heat, moisture and retains its colours well. This makes the handle incredibly low-maintenance! The handles are thinner towards the front and thicker towards the back. This makes the knives feel great in hand. The metal parts, the bolster and the butt, give the knife a nice weight and ensure perfect balance. These metal parts are seamlessly finished.
