Victorinox Alox Swiss pocket knife: handles made from aluminium

Most Victorinox pocket knives feature their recognizable red plastic scales. The Alox collection is one of the exceptions. Instead of plastic, the handles are made from coloured Alox: aluminium. The scales are made from punched aluminium with a protective anodized oxidation coating. This makes the handle even more resistant to corrosion and general wear and tear. In addition, the texture of the pattern also provides extra grip. Because of this finish, an Alox pocket knife will not easily slip out of your hand during use.

The Alox collection from Victorinox consists of Victorinox pocket knives in different shapes and sizes, all with aluminium handle. Victorinox Alox is not a standalone series of knives with a particular design, it simply refers to the handle material used for the pocket knife. Alox pocket knives have handles made from aluminium instead of the standard red plastic. Other collection of Victorinox will often include one or several Alox versions.
